I have yet to watch this game, so talk about it here. Heard the Jazz made a comeback. All I can ask is that they play hard.

This loss I put on Corbin
Im sorry, but when Jefferson is used to closeout the game bad things happen. When has Big Al EVER been a CLOSER… 2 possessions when they were down 3 with 4:00 minutes to go, and he forces one shot up with a double team on him. The second possession he turns the ball over…WTF!
And what the hell is up with the play he draws up in the end. You get Sap to inbound the ball, and Watsons bounce passes the ball in traffic to Big Als knees…OH…BOY…!!! the guy is almost 7 feet tall, get the damn ball to where he can catch, and go up. (still would of lost the game if he makes it being down by 5, but come on maannn!!)
Hayward doesnt even see the last 4:00 minutes of the game…That right there bothers the crap out of me
This loss was all about personnel management. I believe two changes would have won the game.
1. Put Devin on the end of the bench. He is good at two things; on ball defense and pushing the ball. He hasn’t done either of those most of his time with the Jazz. I don’t care how much you are paying him- he doesn’t need to play if he is that awful.
2. Play either Kanter or Favors with Big Al. We are just too much of a liability defensively with Al and Sap. The simple fact is that we just AREN’T BIG ENOUGH up front with those two playing together. I love Milsap, but he has just looked exhausted the past few games.
What if you played Kanter with Jefferson and Favors with Sap… I’m asking, for real, what do you all think would happen? Would that be a good combo rotation?
I don’t think Sap would want to come off the bench again… But would it be an effective lineup?
Just adjust the rotations... have one of the kids come in at the 6 minute mark...
Play say Millsap and Kanter until the quarter ends. Sub in Favors for Sap to start the quarter, then bring Al back in around 4 minutes in. Then bring Sap in around 4-5 minutes left in the quarter. A little mix and match with those four seems appropriate.
Corbin's decision making is questionable at best, so is Devin Harris' defense
the last two games, nearly unknown players at the point have put up allstar numebers (at least as far as points go), because Harris can’t defend. I understand that he is in a role that is uncomfortable for him, but regardless of his role on offense, defense should be a constant, especially with how quick he is. I’m not giving him any slack, these last two losses make me especially want to trade him, unless he can prove me wrong. I’m not usually one to want trades (though Big Al for Iguodala has been on my mind a little), but Harris just seems to kill the game when he is put in. As a side note, wouldn’t it be awesome if we had John Wall?
As far as Corbin goes, these were his losses too, heck, I could do a better job as far as lineups and substitutions go (no offense to Corbin, and granted i probably wouldnt be as good at drawing up plays and that type of thing because I don’t completely know a lot about that stuff, but most of us know by now that hayward is a finisher, and should be given the ball late game, and that burkes is quick, and probably couldve guarded Jeremy Lin the other night better than Harris, at least to the point where he had 5-10 less points)
Seriously, The jazz need to play as a team, and they didn’t really for at least one full quarter, and a bit more. when we played as a team we took it to them. if we hadn’t dug ourselves a 21 point hole by being lazy, we probably win this game
but just wanted to say I like you guys. Recently long term elite w/o being able to get over the hump. Small market that “loves white guys” solidarity I guess.
But seriously, what’s it take for Alec Burks to get in a game?

i put this loss
on the lethargicness of the second quarter. seriously, the jazz need to play Defense for 4 quarters, not skip one.

Agreed
It’s not like Hayward has been shooting and playing poorly of late.

Sucks
But at least everyone clamoring for a lottery pick is looking like they are going to get their wish.
Heard the draft is loaded and we should have 2 picks.

Agreed with this being Corbins Loss

Hey, there's an idea!

I definitely don't put this all on corbin

I only saw the 4th quarter, but I listened to a bit of the first 3.
The radio guys said our defense on the road just isn’t what it is at home.

what can make this night better is if
golden state wins
