Tonight the Utah Jazz dropped a game they just should have won, even if it was a road game facing the New York Knicks in Madison Square Gardens. They were without two All-Stars. And we? We seemed to be without a heart. They got the win. We're now 3-7 in our last 10 in MSG; on a 1-7 slide now.
The story of the game was Jeremy Lin, who really had a dominating performance. We didn't get anyone to equal his efforts, and the Knicks bombed us from deep. Not with precision, but with greater numbers. They took 28 threes. It was enough to punch enough holes in our defense for Lin to find enough space to cause trouble in the lane with.
The funny thing is that maybe the Jazz win this game if Amar'e Stoudemire and Carmelo Anthony are there, but Tyson Chandler is out?

Jeremy Lin is a Baller!!!

he did have 8 TOs to go w/ his 8 assists...
but I’ll give him credit for willing his team to victory

Glad that's over...
I’ll be at the game in Indy tomorrow, hopefully the Jazz show up.
other thoughts…
The Jazz starters all somehow finished the game with positive/neutral +/-, while the bench was horribly negative
I don’t know if it would’ve helped or not, but Burks should’ve at least been given some burn, he seems comparable to Howard/Miles ability-wise, but has more upside & more longterm value to the team, so I don’t really get not playing him unless both of those guys are killing it out there
Millsap is still rebounding but his offense has dropped during the last few games, I wonder what kind of injury he has that he isn’t talking about

Turns out
It is rather difficult to win a game with 20 turnovers. I think the Jazz would have done far better if ’Melo and Stoudemire were playing, then they know who to guard. Teams without Carmelo are just better than teams with him it would seem.
It seemed like the refs were getting paid per offensive foul. I have never seen so many called in one freakin’ game.

Thought the officiating was suspect.
If I didn’t know any better I would’ve thought Lin and Jeffries were All Stars. They were treated like it.
Disappointing to see poor rebounding and slow rotations again.
Pick and roll D with Harris and Al Jeff is just painful to watch.
