JOHN STOCKTON SENDS THE JAZZ TO THE NBA FINALS!

Stock95_medium

I remember watching this live, on an 11" TV in Canada instead of studying for finals.

Where were you and what did you do right after?

I was also in Canada, dude!

Alas, as an LDS Missionary and had no idea it happened.

I was sitting in my grandparent's living room watching the game with my grandpa.

I have no idea what we did after the game, but I assume it was full of revelry.

I was in Houston

I was heartbroken. It was the end of a dream (bad pun) to watch Hakeem against Jordan in the finals.

Then I went to school at Utah. I used to get sick of watching the replay during seemingly every other Jazz game but started to smile when I realized that this was the highlight of the so-called greatest tandem in NBA history according to Jazz fans. Still a clutch shot.

In my living room with an old Sony TV

I couldn’t sleep that night.

Side note, funny how the the dream shake has that picture of K2 with some of our Jazz fans. Outdated/useless picture don’t you think? As opposed to the one above, this will always be a great picture, that and the one with Malone, Horney, and Stockton jumping center court.

Incredible night!

I was watching the game in my downtown SLC apartment. It seemed like the entire building was watching, as the entire complex erupted in cheers when the shot went through.

My girlfriend and I actually went to the airport to welcome the team back. Didn’t get a lot of sleep that night.

I remember that "objective" sportscaster, Bill Walton, with his verbal gaffe, saying "Oh, oh!"
I watched it with my dad in our family room in the basement

the rest of the family watching it upstairs, my mom sent us to a different room she couldn’t watch with all our comments. I still remember crouching in front of our TV ( a nice console one) before Stockton took the shot and immediately jumping up and down hugging my dad, my mom and my aunt (who came over to watch) came running down the stairs screaming all excited, we heard noise outside EVERYONE who lived on our circle was outside celebrating one of the families let off fire works, it was just a fun celebration!

I was living in Isreal

The game wasn’t on TV. I got school early in the morning to check the internet and download the clip. After I saw it I jumped up and ran around the classroom, everyone thought I was crazy. I watched the clip like 100 times and went a got all my friends and made sure they came and saw it. Luckily the Finals games were on cable so I got to wake up at 2 in the morning and go to a friends house with my dad and little brother to watch the games

lol. the mormons had never and have never experienced anything so pleasant in thier whole lives.
yeah, see, this is the stuff i'm talking about.

Clutch City keeping it class . . . but Jazz fans are the bad guys.
